Coaching experience: Phil joined ESG in 2009 after a career in the legal profession. He has experience of coaching children and adults of all ages both individually and in groups.

Teaching style/strengths: Phil has a calm and good-humoured teaching style. He enjoys an excellent rapport with his students and his gentle persuasive manner can convince even the most reluctant child to pick up their racquet and join in the fun. Phil's lessons are structured and well-planned, and while he likes to see his students enjoying themselves, he is not afraid to impose a little discipline when necessary!
